Job Summary
Hybrid leadership role combining firm-wide practice management with hands-on project management for mid-to-large-scale developments. Responsibilities include overseeing project resourcing, staffing, and utilization; monitoring project progress and lifecycle; ensuring balanced workloads and addressing capacity or burnout; coordinating internal teams and external consultants; managing project schedules, budgets, milestones, and site visits; monitoring project financials (hours, fees, budgets); maintaining strong client relationships and acting as a key point of contact; ensuring quality control across design, documentation, and construction phases. Requires 7–12 years of experience in architecture/interior design/architectural technology, strong knowledge of building systems and contract administration, and proficiency with Revit (AutoCAD familiarity). PMP designation is an asset but not essential; professional designation in Canada preferred but not required. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills and comfort with client-facing environments; Calgary-based with hybrid work model.
Required Qualifications
- 7–12 years of experience in architecture, interior design, or architectural technology
- Professional designation (Registered Architect or Intern Architect in Canada) preferred, but not required
- Proficiency in Revit (preferred) and familiarity with AutoCAD
- Strong knowledge of building systems, construction methods, and contract administration
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Comfortable in a client-facing role and able to build lasting relationships
