Job Summary
Architectural Job Captain needed in Calgary to lead production and coordination of construction drawings, manage design development through construction, oversee schedules and deliverables, coordinate with structural, MEP, and civil consultants, ensure compliance with Alberta Building Code and local permits, conduct quality control on drawings and specs, assist with RFIs, and mentor junior team members in a collaborative, design-driven practice. The role emphasizes leading project documentation, cross-disciplinary coordination, adherence to codes, and contributing to efficient project delivery on diverse projects in the Western Canada region.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of architectural experience
- Proficiency in Revit (required)
- Experience with AutoCAD
- Experience with Adobe Creative Suite (asset)
- Knowledge of Alberta Building Code and local Calgary permitting processes
- Strong organizational and communication skills
