Job Summary
Prepare Interior Design Construction Documents and bid sets for commercial, hospitality, and residential projects, including reflected ceiling plans, elevations, and millwork details. Create specification sets using InDesign, select FF&E, and develop presentation boards aligned with client preferences. Collaborate with project teams, consultants, and vendors to produce design documentation, review submittals, and address RFIs during construction. Evaluate bids, conduct site visits, and maintain quality control while managing multiple projects under tight deadlines. Work in a hybrid environment with on-the-job training and opportunities to advance within a collaborative office culture.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors or higher degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or Interior Architecture
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in creating Construction Documents (CD) utilizing REVIT
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in FF&E design, coupled with a strong knowledge of interior materials, color theory, graphic composition, specifications, and procurement processes
- Strong understanding of space planning, construction drawings, furniture, millwork, and cabinetry constructions
- Highly proficient in REVIT and BIM360
- Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.), and other 3D modeling software
- Proficient with Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, and Google Workspace
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong understanding of ADA standards, building codes, and regulations
- Ability to review and process submittals and Requests for Information (RFIs) during construction phases
- Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and creative problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and excel in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
- Reliable transportation for site visits and meetings
