Job Summary

Lead multi-disciplinary design teams on complex building projects across Federal, Nuclear, Healthcare, and Mission Critical sectors. Manage the full lifecycle from conceptual design through construction support, developing execution plans, budgets, and schedules while ensuring compliance with codes and client expectations. Serve as the primary point of contact for public and private sector clients, leading design reviews and presentations. Provide technical oversight on building systems integration and coordinate closely with construction operations, estimating, and procurement teams. Support pursuit efforts including proposal development and market growth strategies. This role is based in Seattle WA, Woodcliff Lake NJ, or Manhattan NY with up to 25% travel and hybrid flexibility.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's/Master's degree in Architecture, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Structural Engineering or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 10+ years of experience in the architecture, engineering, and design of building systems with progressive project leadership responsibilities
  • Demonstrated experience managing multi-disciplinary engineering and architecture teams
  • Experience delivering projects in one or more of the following sectors: Federal / Government, Healthcare, Mission Critical (Data Centers/Water/Wastewater), Sports & Entertainment, Transit & Aviation, Education, Nuclear, Industrial, Power
  • Strong understanding of design-build delivery methods and integrated project delivery
  • Proven ability to manage budgets, schedules, and client relationships
  • Regular, reliable attendance
  • Work productively and meet deadlines timely
  • Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment
  • Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies
  • Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines
  • Work overtime and weekends as required
  • Expected travel of up to 25%

Desired Qualifications

  • Professional Engineer (PE) license or Registered Architect (RA)
  • Experience working on large, complex Design-Build/Engineer Procure Construct (EPC) projects
  • Experience in early project development and contract models such as Progressive Design Build (PDB) or Front-End Engineering Design (FEED)
  • Familiarity with Building Information Modeling (BIM) and digital design tools (e.g., Revit, Navisworks)
  • Experience working with or within construction organizations or contractor-led design environments
