Job Summary
Architectural Engineer sought to shape the physical foundation of data centers and infrastructure projects by translating complex requirements into forward-looking, sustainable designs. Responsibilities include developing architectural and engineering designs for commercial, residential, or industrial projects; producing detailed CAD/BIM drawings and specifications; coordinating with structural, mechanical, and electrical engineers; performing building system analyses; ensuring code, zoning, and safety compliance; advancing energy-efficient, LEED-aligned design solutions; reviewing submittals and RFIs; conducting site visits; collaborating with clients to define objectives; and preparing design proposals and technical documentation. The role emphasizes integration of architecture with engineering disciplines, sustainability, and leadership across project teams, with a focus on high-quality, practical solutions and effective communication.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Architectural Engineering, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in architectural design and engineering
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and other relevant design software
- Strong understanding of building systems and construction methods
- Knowledge of building codes and industry standards
- Experience with sustainable design practices and LEED principles
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong project management abilities
- Outstanding communication and presentation skills
Desired Qualifications
- Professional registration (PE, RA) preferred
- Master's degree in Architecture or Engineering
- LEED AP certification
- Experience with parametric design software
- Knowledge of construction cost estimation
- Familiarity with energy modeling software
- Experience in healthcare, education, or other building types
- Proficiency in BIM software (Revit, ArchiCAD)
- 3D modeling and visualization tools (SketchUp, 3ds Max)
- Energy analysis software
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Project management software
