Job Summary
Architectural Drafter to produce accurate, detailed residential construction document sets in AutoCAD for Challenger Homes. Responsibilities include developing residential plans per department design standards and local codes, providing blacklines and exhibits for multiple departments, maintaining and improving the active library of plan sets, and coordinating with purchasing, construction, and engineering teams to deliver buildable solutions. Requires 3+ years of residential drafting experience, proficiency in AutoCAD, strong attention to detail, timely delivery, and effective communication and collaboration with Construction and other teams.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of residential drafting experience
- Proficient in AutoCAD
- High attention to detail and consistency in drawing updates and document control
- Clear communication skills and the ability to collaborate with Construction and other teams
- Ability to work under time constraints
- Problem solving and abstract thinking
