Job Summary
Read and interpret architectural plans, blueprints, elevations, and construction documents to create detailed electrical sign design drawings, sections, and production artwork. Use CorelDRAW to prepare accurate, production-ready files and retouch digital images while reviewing dimensions and specifications for accuracy. Manage multiple projects and deadlines in a friendly, fast-paced environment while learning sign-design standards, fabrication methods, and installation requirements. Full-time, stable employment with training provided on materials and CNC processes.
Required Qualifications
- Strong ability to read and understand architectural blueprints and construction drawings
- Understanding of Graphic Design software
- Experience reading architectural elevations, sections, details, and technical drawings
- Strong layout, typography, and graphic-design skills
- Image and photo-retouching experience
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and changing priorities
- Typing speed of at least 30–35 words per minute
- Positive attitude and ability to work well with a team
Desired Qualifications
- CoreDRAW 2025/Corel PHOTO-PAINT 2025
- Adobe Illustrator
- Adobe Photoshop
- Adobe Acrobat Pro
- Knowledge of construction documents, building materials, fabrication, or manufacturing
- Experience preparing files for production or CNC equipment
- Architectural, drafting, environmental-design, or related technical-design experience
