Job Summary
Architectural Designer leading the development of construction documents, directing a Drafter, and coordinating with other designers to create a constructible design package. Responsibilities include owning the design scope, developing calculations and specifications, annotating documents, ensuring code and client requirements are met, guiding the Drafter, participating in client and discipline coordination meetings, handling RFI/Submittal responses, performing site observations and design validation, updating/revising the package based on RFI responses, and converting as-built information into record sets. Requires strong knowledge of design principles, ability to lead design discussions, and proficiency with relevant software/tools to support documentation and modeling. This is an in-office, full-time role based in Chandler, AZ, with local relocation as needed and no remote work option.
Required Qualifications
- High school Diploma or GED
- Two (2) year associate’s degree or equivalent experience
- Bachelor's degree in architecture or engineering studies (preferred)
- Three (3) to Five (5) years of practical experience (required)
- Ten (10) years of practical experience (preferred)
- US work authorization
