Job Summary
Mid-level Architectural Designer in Cincinnati to contribute to a diverse portfolio of architecture projects within a multidisciplinary A/E environment. Responsibilities include supporting the architecture department and project management, developing technical construction drawings and specifications, preparing sustainability-driven data and design options (Revit plug-ins, Adobe Creative Suite), conducting field investigations, and providing limited construction administration (RFI responses, submittal review). The role emphasizes leadership, mentorship, critical thinking, and collaboration with architects, planners, engineers, and landscape architects to deliver design solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in architecture from an NAAB accredited US college
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in the field of Architecture working in an Engineering or Architecture/Engineering design consulting firm with emphasis on architectural design for buildings
- Willingness to pursue Professional Registration as an Architect in the United States
- Strong graphic and layout skills using Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
- Proficiency in developing construction drawings using Autodesk Revit
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Proficiency in Bluebeam Revu
- Strong written communication skills, including report writing and document preparation
- Organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple assignments
- Ability to think critically and contribute to problem-solving efforts
- Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative environment with a multi-disciplinary team
- Preferred qualifications: WUFI, Sefeira, LEED/WELL/PHIUS accreditation, Rhinoceros and Revit, D5/Enscape/Twinmotion, CSI MasterFormat, 3D printing and model making, Trimble SketchUp
- Professional Registration as an Architect in the United States (listed as preferred)
