Job Summary
Architectural Designer II at Ware Malcomb develops and produces design concepts through 2-D/3-D studies, 3D renderings, computer illustrations, and hand drafting. You will contribute to design packages, assist in researching and documenting materials, and ensure accuracy and quality of design elements to align with project goals. Requires 4+ years of commercial architectural design experience, a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related field, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Suite; familiarity with presentation, photo editing and modelling software; and model-making/illustration abilities preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or related field
- 4+ years of experience in Commercial Architectural Design
- AutoCAD skills
- Adobe Suite skills
- SketchUp skills
- Revit skills
- Familiarity with presentation, photo editing and modelling software
- Model making and illustration abilities preferred
- Basic understanding of site and building design
- Knowledge of building codes and construction methods
