Job Summary
Architectural Designer II to support the design, planning, and documentation of projects of moderate size and complexity; contribute to design solutions, technical development, and project delivery while collaborating with more senior team members in a design-focused environment; provide professional architectural consultation in planning and coordination, review and prepare project specifications and construction documents, and support construction administration; guide less experienced team members and participate in external project communications and presentations with subconsultants and clients; based in Chicago, IL; requires a professional architecture degree and strong Revit/Adobe skills with a portfolio to demonstrate capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- Professional degree in architecture
- Minimum 6 years of related professional experience
- Proficient modeling and documentation using Revit; proficient with Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign; proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
- Portfolio highlighting design, technical, and drafting abilities including Revit documentation and technical drawings
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to collaborate with internal teams, clients, vendors and consultants
- Strong attention to detail and ability to organize an architectural drawing set
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with urgency in a fast-paced, creative, dynamic environment
