Job Summary
Architectural Designer II is responsible for design and production of architectural construction documents under supervision, including design, setup and coordination of documents based on standard architectural practices and codes. Responsibilities include running projects with minimal oversight, designing and producing construction documents and specifications, completing designated scope within time budgets, delegating and reviewing work of technical staff, managing permitting processes, assisting in Construction Administration services, resolving technical issues, maintaining QC standards, and coordinating with engineering disciplines. Skills emphasize working with AutoCAD and REVIT, applying applicable codes, and delivering quality customer service within a collaborative team environment. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree (master’s preferred)
- 4-8 years of experience in an architectural firm/field
- Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and/or REVIT
- Advanced understanding of architecture, building construction, and building codes
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
