Job Summary
Investigate, evaluate, and recommend design solutions for residential, mixed-use, and commercial projects while developing deliverables ranging from conceptual to construction documents. Produce construction documents and carry out assignments requiring new techniques and procedures. Conduct on-site inspections and collaborate closely with team members, clients, and contractors. Maintain proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, and Adobe Creative Suite, with a focus on building codes and accessibility requirements. This role supports the full design and construction process for Harman Deutsch Ohler Architecture.
Required Qualifications
- bachelor's degree from an accredited school of architecture, or combination of education and relevant experience
- proven experience in all phases of the design and construction process
- 3+ years' experience working in residential, mixed-use and/or commercial design
- seeking Licensure (IDP Program)
- proficient in AutoCAD
- detail oriented and collaborative
- excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- knowledge of relevant building codes and accessibility requirements
Desired Qualifications
- proficiency in Revit a plus
