Job Summary

Research, assess, plan, and assist in the design of building projects, preparing architectural drawings, models, presentations, and construction documents from schematic design through construction administration. Coordinate architectural work with in-house civil, structural, mechanical, electrical, and fire protection engineering teams while conducting site visits and existing-conditions assessments. Collaborate with project architects, managers, consultants, and clients to support project goals, schedules, and deliverables, applying building codes and accessibility standards throughout the design process. Manage multiple assignments by communicating questions, conflicts, and schedule concerns to the project team.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Architectural Engineering
  • Three to five years of professional experience in an architectural or multidisciplinary design firm
  • Working knowledge of building codes, accessibility standards, building construction, materials, and structural systems
  • Proficiency in Revit
  • Experience preparing and coordinating construction documents
  • Strong design, technical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage priorities and meet project deadlines
  • Interest in continued professional development and progress toward architectural licensure

Desired Qualifications

  • experience with AutoCAD and other architectural design or visualization software
