Job Summary
Contribute across the full project lifecycle by attending client meetings, developing project briefs, and coordinating architectural documentation from concept design through contract documentation for tender and construction. Support site meetings, review contractor submissions and RFIs, and resolve design issues to ensure successful project delivery. Mentor junior team members while collaborating with senior architects to deliver high-quality outcomes for industrial, energy, water, and defence sectors. Manage workloads within agreed timeframes and budgets while balancing competing priorities.
Required Qualifications
- appropriate tertiary qualification
- Master's degree in Architecture
- registration
- minimum of 5+ years' experience
- experience contributing to architectural projects within multidisciplinary teams
- collaborating with a range of stakeholders
- experience coordinating inputs from other consultants
- contributing to projects through both design and documentation phases
- strong planning, organisational and problem-solving skills
- ability to manage workloads to agreed timeframes and budgets
- balancing competing project priorities
- comfortable working independently
- contributing positively to a collaborative team environment
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- interest in report-writing
- Proven proficiency in Revit
- knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud
- Knowledge of construction technology
- building detailing
- application of the National Construction Code
