Job Summary
Lead and monitor medium to large-scale projects through the contract administration process, coordinating with clients, consultants, and contractors to ensure contractual compliance, timelines, and budgets. Provide technical guidance, anticipate challenges, and recommend substitutions that meet specifications. Prepare and maintain comprehensive contract documentation (RFIs, site instructions, change orders, progress claims, close-out records) and develop project summary sheets highlighting experience in condominium, mixed-use, commercial, or institutional projects. Requires 8+ years in North American architectural industry, Bachelor of Architecture or Architectural Technologist background, PMP credential is a plus, strong Revit skills, travel ability, and excellence in communication and stakeholder management. Hybrid work model with intermittent in-office and site visits, mileage/travel expenses reimbursed, comprehensive benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 8+ years of experience in the North American architectural industry, with experience at senior level as a Construction Contract Administrator on moderately complex projects
- Educational/professional background as an Architectural Technologist, Bachelor of Architecture, or PMP credential
- Strong understanding of building codes, building science, and construction best practices
- Proficient in Revit; experience with contract administration software is an asset
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Valid G driver’s license, able to travel at least bi-weekly to other parts of the province, some overnight stay may be required
