Job Summary
Architectural CAD Technician with 4–6 years of experience in architectural/A&E environments, focusing on producing coordinated construction documents under the direction of a Project Architect or Project Manager. Proficient in Revit to prepare plans, sections, details, schedules, and other drawing components, applying established standards, codes, and building systems. Responsible for coordinating architectural drawings with engineering disciplines, incorporating QA/QC comments, supporting construction administration, and utilizing Bluebeam for plan review and collaboration. Must be capable of independently measuring and creating existing condition drawings and likely comfortable with a hybrid work arrangement in Bangor, ME. Experience with AutoCAD is preferred, and familiarity with wood frame, masonry veneer, and steel construction types, plus software such as Photoshop/Illustrator equivalents (Adobe Creative Suite) and rendering tools (Lumion, Sketchup, Enscape, or V-Ray) is advantageous. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4–6 years of technical experience in an architectural or A/E firm
- Experience working under a Project Architect or Project Manager on multi-discipline teams
- Proficiency in Revit required
- Demonstrated competency in construction documentation and detailing
- Working knowledge of building codes, standards, and typical construction methods
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
