Job Summary
Architectural CAD Technician with 4-6 years of experience producing coordinated construction documents in Revit for an architectural/AE firm. Responsibilities include producing plans, sections, details, schedules; applying codes and building systems; coordinating drawings with engineering disciplines; incorporating QA/QC comments and project team markups; supporting construction administration and plan reviews using Bluebeam; and measuring/creating existing condition drawings. This hybrid role is based in Northborough, MA, with in-office and remote work considered based on business needs. Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 4-6 years of technical experience in an architectural or A/E firm
- Experience working under a Project Architect or Project Manager on multi-discipline teams
- Proficiency in Revit required
- Demonstrated competency in construction documentation and detailing
- Working knowledge of building codes, standards, and typical construction methods
- Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team
- Preferred Qualifications: AutoCAD experience; experience with wood frame, masonry veneer, and steel construction; familiarity with Adobe Creative Suite, Sketchup, rendering tools such as Lumion, Twinmotion, Enscape, or V-Ray
