Job Summary
We are seeking an Architect – Software Developer to lead the design and development of robust, scalable, and performant backend systems. This role involves architecting and maintaining reliable APIs, delivering scalable microservices, and setting engineering standards across API design and testing. You will collaborate closely with teams to guide backend and frontend implementation, mentor engineers, and integrate AI/ML frameworks. Required skills include expertise in backend development with Python or TypeScript, defining API contracts, understanding microservices architecture, and hands-on experience with cloud-native solutions. Proficiency in Docker, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines is essential.
Required Qualifications
- Expertise in backend development using Python, FastAPI and/or TypeScript (Node.js)
- Proven experience defining API contracts using OpenAPI, Swagger, gRPC, and Postman
- Deep understanding of microservices, event-driven and asynchronous system design
- Mastery of asynchronous programming, multiprocessing, and real-time streaming
- Practical experience with cloud-native development (AWS, GCP, Azure)
- Hands-on experience with API lifecycle management
- Proficient in Docker, Git-based version control, and container orchestration workflows
- Deep commitment to automated testing strategies
- Strong command of CI/CD pipelines
- Skilled at producing HLD/LLD documentation and UML diagrams
- Ownership of software release cycles
Desired Qualifications
- Exposure to LLM orchestration (LangChain, LlamaIndex)
- Experience with RAG architectures, vector DBs (Milvus, Pinecone, PGVector)
- Understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP) and Agent-to-Agent toolkits for advanced agent workflows
- Clinical/life sciences exposure, including FHIR, clinical systems integration, or healthcare data privacy standards
- Strong UX awareness to influence AI-driven product design and user journeys
- End-to-end experience architecting AI-powered applications with measurable impact
