Architect, Security Automation

Lead the design and evolution of Edwards Lifsesciences' enterprise security automation program, building intelligent, scalable playbooks and AI-driven workflows to reduce response time and elevate security posture. Define and own the automation architecture vision, roadmap, and standards across the security organization; design, build, and maintain complex automation use cases and AI-Agents in Incident Response, IAM, Cloud, and Security operations. Establish governance for playbook quality, peer review, testing, and version control; develop integrations across multiple cybersecurity tools using APIs and webhooks; define metrics to demonstrate automation maturity and ROI to senior leadership. Own the operations and maintenance of key cybersecurity automation capabilities (SOAR such as Torq, Palo Alto XSOAR, etc.), and provide coaching and knowledge transfer to team members. Create and maintain technical documentation (playbooks, runbooks, integration diagrams, procedures, troubleshooting guides) and stay informed on evolving threat landscapes and automation technologies, including AI/ML and LLM-based agents. Ideal candidates will have deep expertise in SOAR architecture, API-based integrations, and automation engineering across the security operations lifecycle, with strong scripting skills (Python and at least one of PowerShell, Bash, JavaScript).
