Job Summary
OpenShift Infrastructure Architect to lead architecture and implementation of OpenShift-based platforms, including OpenShift Virtualization, across pre-sales and delivery. Engage in customer discovery, workshops, and solution design; partner with Sales to shape opportunities and build technical proposals; support RFP/RFI responses; assess environments and design optimized OpenShift-based platforms; lead migrations from traditional virtualization to OpenShift; provide technical leadership during delivery; drive automation, DevOps, and IaC adoption; collaborate with product engineering and support to share best practices.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise infrastructure, consulting, or platform engineering roles
- Proven experience in pre-sales or customer-facing roles, supporting complex solution sales cycles
- Strong expertise in Red Hat OpenShift and Kubernetes platforms
- Hands-on experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, KVM) and migration strategies
- Experience with OpenShift Virtualization or similar approaches to VM modernization
- Solid understanding of enterprise infrastructure (compute, storage, networking)
- Experience with automation tools (e.g., Ansible, Terraform) and IaC practices
- Strong communication and presentation skills, including executive-level storytelling
- Ability to translate business needs into technical solutions and architectures
- Fluent in English (written and verbal)
- Red Hat certifications are a plus
