Job Summary
Lead and manage large-scale architectural projects from initial concept through construction administration, ensuring design intent is realized in the built environment while coordinating multidisciplinary teams (structural, civil, MEP) and maintaining BIM excellence in Revit. Drive project lifecycles with rigorous attention to codes, schedules, and budgets; lead high-level client meetings, mentor junior staff, and allocate resources to optimize studio performance. Seek to translate design concepts into deliverable construction documents and contribute to a culture of design excellence and leadership within Johnston LLC’s Houston/Dallas studios.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture from an NAAB-accredited program
- Experience: 8+ years of professional architectural experience in leadership or project management
- Software Proficiency: Advanced, expert-level command of Autodesk Revit
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of building codes, construction processes, and diverse project delivery methods
