Job Summary

Lead design management on complex federal design-build projects, guiding work from proposal development through final design and construction support. Coordinate multiple technical disciplines and lead multidisciplinary subcontracted Architect-Engineer teams for diverse portfolios including facilities, infrastructure, utilities, airfields, and mission-critical programs. Apply technical expertise to drive successful project outcomes while facilitating discussions among diverse stakeholders and building consensus. This role offers a salary range of $115,000 to $125,000 annually for a licensed Architect or Professional Engineer with 5+ years of experience. Located in San Antonio, TX, the position provides access to comprehensive benefits including ESOP, medical/dental/vision insurance, 401k matching, and a mentorship program. Candidates will work directly with Department of Defense and federal agency clients to deliver projects supporting critical global missions.

Required Qualifications

  • Current registration as a Registered Architect (RA) or Professional Engineer (PE)
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture or Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of progressively responsible design experience
  • Experience coordinating multiple technical disciplines and leading design efforts
  • Ability to successfully lead multidisciplinary subcontracted A/E teams
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills

Desired Qualifications

  • Federal Design-Build project experience
  • Department of Defense project experience
  • Working knowledge of UFC, UFGS, and WBDG
  • Experience with NAVFAC, USACE, Air Force, Army, Marine Corps, Space Force, or other federal agencies
  • Experience leading design-build proposal efforts
  • Experience supporting projects valued in excess of $20 million
  • Experience with federal projects and federal design standards
