Job Summary
Own the target architecture and roadmap for Office 365 services, designing secure, supportable solutions across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and related capabilities. Provide oversight for migrations, integrations, enhancements, and new service introductions while taking initiatives through the governance process, including architecture review, documentation, and approvals. Define standards for tenant configuration, collaboration, external sharing, and information protection; maintain architecture documentation, solution designs, and decision records. Work with Cyber Security, Identity, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations, and business stakeholders to ensure solutions meet enterprise requirements. Assess Microsoft roadmap changes to recommend improvements to security, resilience, usability, and cost efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Strong experience in Office 365 architecture within a large enterprise
- Deep knowledge of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Microsoft Teams and Office 365 administration
- Strong understanding of Entra ID, conditional access, MFA, hybrid identity and privileged access
- Experience with Microsoft 365 security and compliance capabilities, including Purview, DLP, retention and sensitivity labels
- Experience designing governance models for Teams, SharePoint, external sharing and collaboration services
- Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, service introduction, operational readiness and technology governance
- Ability to produce clear architecture documentation and communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Microsoft 365 / Office 365 architecture
- Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive and Teams
- PowerShell, Microsoft Graph or automation experience
- Entra ID, conditional access and MFA
- Microsoft Purview, DLP, retention and sensitivity labelling
- Secure collaboration and information protection
- Architecture governance and design approvals
- Stakeholder management and communication

- Power Platform governance knowledge
- Tenant-to-tenant migration experience
- Microsoft 365 Copilot
- LeanIX, ServiceNow, Jira or Azure DevOps experience
- Financial services or regulated-industry experience
