Job Summary
Provide technology blueprints, options, and impacts for application challenges while introducing new methodologies and processes to OEC. Advise engineering teams on operational readiness for new products and features, refining requirements based on user needs and integration constraints. Drive technology modernization by creating repeatable patterns, auditing technology currency, and leading proof-of-concept efforts to assess technical solutions. Influence code standards, review processes, and design patterns while partnering with infrastructure and data services to ensure solution consistency. Resolve complex technical support issues and participate on "tiger" teams to address root causes of persistent incidents. Research industry best practices and trends to align technology modernization with business initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- 15- 23 Years
- A bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university (or international equivalent) with a focus in Information Technology, Computer Science or related discipline
- At least 15 years of experience in designing and programming of complex software applications
- background working with modern application architecture principles and design patterns
- proven experience in successful end-to-end system design
- Expertise on Java and J2EE frameworks like Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate, SQL, & Apache Camel
- AWS Cloud technologies
- Experience in relational database design and querying concepts
- JavaScript frameworks such as Vue.js, Angular, React
- virtualization/container technologies such as Docker
- Web APIs and microservice patterns
- Hands-on coding experience with proficiency in AI tools such as Claude and GitHub Copilot
- experience in building AI agents
- proven end-to-end architectural ownership
- Ability to communicate and collaborate across teams and build relationships to solve challenges
- Understanding of the full project development life cycle
