Job Summary
Develop architectural concepts, designs, and construction documents, including plans, elevations, sections, details, and specifications. Coordinate with clients, consultants, engineers, and contractors while ensuring projects comply with building codes, zoning regulations, and industry standards. Conduct site visits, project evaluations, and construction observations to support administration and respond to field inquiries. Assist with permitting, regulatory approvals, and prepare presentations, design reports, and project documentation. Manage project schedules, budgets, and deliverables, and participate in client meetings to provide design solutions throughout project development. Full-time, Monday-Friday, primarily office-based in Kennebunk, ME with occasional site visits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture
- 3-7 years of professional architectural experience
- Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, SketchUp, and Microsoft Office
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, building systems, and codes
- Excellent design, visualization, and problem-solving skills
- Strong communication and project management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
