Job Summary
Experienced Architect to support U.S. Navy facilities and infrastructure projects based at NSA Naples, Italy. Provide architectural expertise throughout planning, design, and construction phases, ensuring code-compliant, high-quality facility designs. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, apply architectural design principles across programming, space planning, concept design, design analysis, construction documentation, and project support. Ensure compliance with DoD, Navy, IBC, Life Safety Code, and related standards; utilize Autodesk and other design software; prepare technical reports and presentations; support budgeting and team coordination. This role is contingent on contract award with potential up to five years.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from a NAAB-accredited program or equivalent NCARB-approved experience
- Minimum 5 years of professional architectural design experience, including new construction and renovation projects, with code-compliant facilities design
- At least one year of experience on Federal Agency facilities projects
- Registered Architect (RA) licensure is desirable
- Must have a valid US driver's license
