Job Summary
Develop project design philosophies and contribute to building performance strategies while communicating these to team members. Provide technical design input for the entire design concept, leading detailed design development and project coordination efforts. Collaborate with consultants to ensure deliverables are coordinated and integrated, supporting design concepts and performance goals. Contribute to preparing design documents and lead the development of construction documents across all project phases. Review project documents for compliance with building codes and zoning ordinances. Advance the production of schematic, design development, and construction document drawings and specifications. Perform construction administration duties and maintain client, consultant, and contractor relationships throughout the project.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture
- 5+ years of experience on small- to large-scale projects
- Proficiency in Revit
- Ability to travel to job sites
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree preferred
- Licensed architect in California preferred
- Experience with TI and core and shell projects
- Strong graphic skills
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other industry software
- Experience in creative workplace and technical lab projects
- LEED accreditation
