Job Summary
Architect & Interior Designer on our defense infrastructure team will shape operational capabilities and daily quality of life for DoD personnel by delivering architectural design, space planning, and comprehensive design packages for federal/military projects. You will coordinate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams to integrate building systems, ensure compliance with UFC, IBC, ADA, and Life Safety Codes, and produce floor plans, elevations, and finish schedules using AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and 3D tools such as SketchUp or Rhino. The role supports large-scale military infrastructure modernization and the creation of secure, sustainable facilities to enable mission readiness while collaborating with stakeholders and leadership across federal programs. A Secret clearance is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or Interior Design
- 3+ years of experience in architectural design, space planning, or interior design including commercial, federal, or military projects
- Experience producing comprehensive design packages, including floor plans, elevations, reflected ceiling plans, and finish schedules
- Experience in industry-standard design software, including AutoCAD, Revit, BIM, and 3D modeling tools such as SketchUp or Rhino
- Knowledge of Unified Facilities Criteria (UFC), International Building Code (IBC), Life Safety Codes, and Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) guidelines
- Ability to coordinate with multi-disciplinary engineering teams including MEP, structural, and civil to integrate building systems into cohesive designs
