Job Summary
Architect II - Data Technology Controls at JPMorgan Chase in the Corporate Investment Bank Risk & Control Management function. You will help define and publish data-related technology control procedures (data quality, retention and destruction, data protection, data privacy), provide SME guidance to stakeholders, support adoption and evidencing of controls, maintain a knowledge base with best practices and training, track metrics and OKRs to senior leaders, assist with compliance, audits and regulatory action plans, and identify automation improvements including Data Architecture tooling needs. Requires strong knowledge of data management and governance, ability to translate control requirements to actionable activities, and proven engagement with stakeholders across an organization.
Required Qualifications
- Understanding of application solution design and delivery
- Understanding of data management and governance frameworks, approaches, tools and techniques
- Understanding of creating or maintaining a knowledge base, including best practices, guidelines and training
- Understand and explain technology related topics to business stakeholders
- Ability to work in a team environment with changing and competing priorities
- Excellent engagement skills with key stakeholders
- Knowledge of data management capabilities such as lifecycle management, data quality, metadata management, data classification, data lineage, data privacy or data integration (preferred)
- Knowledge of data management technologies (e.g., data retention, data integration, data visualization, analytics) and integration styles (file, API, messaging) (preferred)
- Knowledge of Financial Services (preferred)
- Experience of process automation implementation (including AI/LLM) (preferred)
- Experience with reporting tools (Qlik, Tableau, Excel) (preferred)
