Job Summary
Lead development and coordination of interior design packages from concept through construction and site support stages for high-profile hospitality and residential projects. Prepare and review layouts, elevations, sections, finishes plans, schedules, and detailed construction documentation while developing joinery, millwork, and custom fixture details. Collaborate with architectural, MEP, lighting, FF&E, and cost consultant teams to ensure coordinated delivery, review technical documentation for quality and code compliance, and support client presentations and design workshops. Mentor junior team members and identify design risks to contribute to continuous improvement and QA/QC standards.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related discipline
- at least 7 years of experience in hospitality, residential, mixed-use, or commercial interior projects
- Strong expertise in interior detailing, joinery, millwork, FF&E coordination, technical documentation, and construction detailing
- Advanced proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit
- knowledge of relevant building codes, life safety, accessibility, and hospitality design standards
- Strong communication, stakeholder management, quality control, multitasking, and mentoring skills
- ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, global project environment
Desired Qualifications
- familiarity with SketchUp, Enscape, or similar visualization tools
