Job Summary
Develop plans for lab and high-tech facilities including teaching and research spaces. Work with a team to create flexible planning grids, lab organization diagrams, and service distribution concepts. Document laboratory systems covering casework, equipment, and space development. Assist with business development through proposal development and client interviews. Build and maintain client relationships while using technical expertise to lead the team. Mentor junior staff. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, 8+ years of experience in architectural lab programming, and Registered Architect status. LEED AP preferred. Salary is commensurate with experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture
- 8+ years of experience in architectural lab programming/planning
- Registered Architect
- Successful applicant must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- LEED AP preferred
- Experience managing clients, project teams, and project processes
- Desire to learn more about sustainability
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management software
