Job Summary
Develop plans for lab and high-tech facilities including teaching and research spaces. Create flexible planning grids, lab organization diagrams, and service distribution concepts while documenting laboratory systems such as casework, equipment, and space development. Assist with business development through proposal development and client interviews, and build relationships with clients using technical expertise to lead the team. Mentor junior staff and manage project processes. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Architecture, 8+ years of experience, and a Registered Architect license. Salary is commensurate with experience; no sponsorship authorized.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture
- 8+ years of experience in architectural lab programming/planning
- Registered Architect
- Successful applicant must be authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- LEED AP preferred
- Experience managing clients, project teams, and project processes
- Desire to learn more about sustainability
- Knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, Microsoft Office Suite, and project management software
