Job Summary
Prepare project estimates and architectural plans as assigned. Inspect structures in the field and review completed architectural plans and estimates. Write specifications, coordinate with material manufacturers, and inspect raw materials. Select, evaluate, and implement architectural procedures and techniques to use in the completion of projects. Formulate architectural reports and specifications. Approve final specifications and ordered materials. Provide overall guidance on project objectives and concepts. Adhere to University and unit-level policies and procedures and safeguard University assets.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience
- Learning Agility: Ability to learn new procedures, technologies, and protocols, and adapt to changing priorities and work demands
- Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively with others and contribute to a team environment
- Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using office software, technology, and relevant computer applications
- Communication: Strong and clear written and verbal communication skills for interacting with colleagues and stakeholders
