Architect

Conduct examination of building permit applications, including blueprints, specifications, surveys, product approvals, and shop drawings for compliance with the Florida Building Code. Provide clear commentary on code violations, issue notices of correction, and approve compliant applications with signature. Inspect buildings and facilities for regulatory compliance while meeting with design professionals and contractors to discuss technical code issues. Prepare written and electronic reports, maintain required records, and resolve unique project problems. Some travel is required for inspections and project management.
