Job Summary
Architect EHR Applications responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining integration solutions aligned with architectural standards and business requirements. Analyze workflows to identify optimization opportunities, establish and update best practices for integration design and maintenance, and coordinate comprehensive testing strategies with detailed test plans and defect management. Serve as a liaison between IT, operations, finance, and business units to resolve issues, drive process improvements, and ensure scalability, interoperability, and regulatory compliance. Collaborate with application teams to review workflows, standardize protocols, and drive improvements in system connectivity. Lead cross-functional collaboration to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and guide timely resolutions, root cause analysis, and preventive actions across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- EPIC Certification - Epic Systems
- EPIC Certification - Epic Systems - primary or secondary
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Healthcare or related field
- Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Healthcare or related field
- 4 years Direct Epic build on current software version or 7 years Progressive experience in Information Services, or a combination blend of Information Services and direct healthcare experience.
