Job Summary
Architect role focused on delivering design excellence across projects from concept through post-contract stages. Contributes to project research, sketches and presentations; coordinates with engineers and sub-consultants, ensures designs comply with local codes and QA/QC procedures; prepares complete document sets at each design stage (concept, scheme, detail) and coordinates with authorities for approvals; develops exterior/facades and interior layouts; ensures design intent is followed, supports tender and contract phases, conducts site visits, and maintains CPD to stay updated on trends; strong proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop, 3D Max; effective communication in English, with Mandarin/Cantonese desirable; requires 4+ years of experience in high-rise or office environments and collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
Required Qualifications
- Degree educated – RIBA Parts 1, and/or 2 or equivalent
- Registered architect – ARB or equivalent in country of origin
- RIBA or equivalent membership preferred
- Excellent design skills
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, Photoshop and 3D Max
- Excellent command of written and spoken English
- Mandarin Chinese and Cantonese are highly desirable
- Experience: At least 4 years’ experience
- Previous experience in high-rise building design and construction is advantageous
- Previous experience in an office environment working as part of a team is preferred
