Job Summary
Design scalable data models using Dimensional Modeling, Normalization, and Medallion Architecture while mapping business processes to create architectural diagrams. Lead end-to-end data ingestion from source systems through Silver and Reporting layers, developing solutions with PySpark, ASQL, and Databricks. Perform data profiling, quality assessments, and maintain enterprise models using specialized tools. Prepare deliverables including STTM, analysis documents, and UAT test cases. Support data lineage, metadata management, and governance practices. Mentor Data Modeling and Data Engineering teams while collaborating with stakeholders on business-driven solutions. Identify opportunities to leverage AI-driven productivity tools in modeling and engineering activities.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in Data Modeling
- Strong knowledge of Dimensional Modeling, Normalization, and Medallion Architecture
- Hands-on experience with PySpark, Databricks, ASQL, and SQL
- Strong data analysis, profiling, and data quality skills
- Experience with at least one Data Modeling Tool
- Experience in end-to-end data ingestion and reporting-layer architecture
- Ability to create business process flows and architectural diagrams
- Strong documentation skills, including STTM, data models, analysis documents, and UAT documentation
- Knowledge of data governance, data lineage, and metadata management
- Understanding of AI and AI-driven productivity tools
- Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and mentoring skills
