Archery Technician - Part-time

Job Summary
Greet customers, handle merchandise with care, and provide technical assistance for archery equipment. Troubleshoot, diagnose, and tune bows to ensure safety and proper function. Install accessories, demonstrate products, and answer specific technical questions to help customers understand operation and completed work. Identify customer needs, make product recommendations, and promote programs like CLUB Membership and In-Store Pick-up. Replenish shelves, maintain pricing and UPC integrity, and keep work areas organized and stocked. Continuously train to improve proficiency and product knowledge. Follow all company policies and procedures while performing other assigned duties.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 2+ years' experience with bow set up
- Must be able to perform bow set up for customers including but not limited to; draw length, identifying eye dominance, and determining draw weight
- Must be able to perform bow assembly and accessory installation such as kisser button, peep sights, D loop, knock location, and scope installation
- Knowledge of arrow set up to include but not limited to; arrow length, spine, and insert installation
- Must be able to operate various equipment and tools including a bow press and chop saw
- Must be able to lift or move objects weighing up to 20 pounds
- Occasionally move and lift objects up to 100 pounds or more (utilizing a team lift as needed)
- Must be able to ascend or descend ladders, stairs, ramps, etc.
- Must be able to work in noisy environments
- Must be able to constantly stand and/or walk during shift
- Must be able to constantly communicate with others to exchange information
- Must be able to constantly repeat motions that may include the wrists, hands and/or fingers
- Must be able to occasionally operate machinery and/or power tools
