Job Summary
Conduct high-quality instruction and direct leadership for Merit Badge students in classroom or range environments while ensuring 100% accountability of all equipment. Model the Scout Oath and Law in daily interactions, maintain a clean and safe work area, and electronically track badge completions accurately. Stand, walk, and hike up to 9 hours daily with the ability to lift 70 pounds, adhering to SBR policies and procedures. Complete annual health records and utilize Microsoft Teams for communication.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age: 18+
- USA Archery Level 1 Instructor
- Willing to become a registered Scouting America member
- Ability to stand, walk, and hike up to 9 hours daily
- Ability to lift/move up to 70 pounds
- Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for daily work-related communication

- Experience in competitive shooting or hunting, any discipline
- High emotional intelligence (such as self/social awareness and team dynamics)
- Positive and cheerful attitude with a strong customer-service focus
