Job Summary
Instruct guests in classroom or range environments while maintaining 100% accountability for all equipment. Ensure range safety procedures are followed and keep work areas clean, organized, inspected, and neat. Model the Scout Oath and Law in daily interactions and provide top-tier archery programs. Complete the Annual Health and Medical Record and maintain physical readiness to stand, walk, and hike up to 9 hours daily while lifting up to 70 pounds. Work 45-55 hours per week in a fast-paced environment serving diverse age groups.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age: 18+
- USA Archery Level 1 Instructor
- 1+ year leading teams
- 1+ year Summit Employment
- Willing to become a registered Scouting America member
- Ability to stand, walk, and hike up to 9 hours daily
- Ability to lift/move up to 70 pounds
- Comfortable using Microsoft Teams for daily work-related communication
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in competitive shooting or hunting, any discipline
- High emotional intelligence (such as self/social awareness and team dynamics)
- Positive and cheerful attitude with a strong customer-service focus
- Adaptability in a fast-paced environment with ability to learn/develop hard and soft skills
- Ability to connect with individuals from diverse age groups, maturity, and backgrounds
