Job Summary
Conduct manual vegetation removal, operate forestry equipment such as skidders and chainsaws, and perform line clearance and pruning. Apply pesticides safely and manage work areas while maintaining safety standards. Operate bucket trucks and climb trees as part of hands-on training. Work outdoors year-round in various weather conditions, carrying up to 75 lbs and walking on uneven terrain. Requires 45 weekly hours, a valid driver's license, and willingness to obtain CDL A or B. Complete post-offer physical, drug screen, and background checks. Advance your career through paid licensing and certification courses.
Required Qualifications
- Must be able to work 45 hours weekly
- Must be 18 years of age
- High School Diploma/GED/or equivalent
- Must have a current and valid driver's license
- Must have reliable transportation
- Must be able to work outside in various types of weather
- Must be physically able to perform the requirements of the position
- Must be willing to work at varying heights
- Must be willing and able to learn how to run a bucket truck & operate equipment safely
- Must be willing and able to obtain a CDL A or B license
- Must be willing and able to obtain, and maintain licenses & certifications as required by the position
- Must be able to successfully complete a post offer physical & drug screen
- Must be able to successfully complete a background and motor vehicle check
