Job Summary
Conduct daily sales and client visits within a defined territory to evaluate tree and shrub care needs, assess existing and potential residential and commercial properties, and establish long-term business relationships. Prepare proposals using sales process tools, supervise work completion based on signed contracts, and implement safety, transportation, and pesticide compliance programs. Set personal sales expectations with immediate supervisor to meet goals. Requires ISA Arborist Certification or ability to obtain, valid driver's license, and 1-3 years of related experience. Full-time role with $75,000 annual draw plus commission, located in White River Junction, VT.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of related experience in the tree care industry or prior sales experience
- ISA Arborist Certification or ability to obtain
- Ability to learn to identify trees and shrubs common to the region, diagnose pests and diseases, and recommend corrective action or proactive management plans
- Valid driver's license
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Turfgrass, Environmental Science, Plant Science, Outdoor Recreation, Agriculture or a related field
