Job Summary
Conduct daily sales visits to residential and commercial clients to evaluate tree and shrub care needs and establish long-term relationships. Prepare proposals using sales process tools and supervise work completion per signed contracts while enforcing safety, transportation, and pesticide compliance programs. Set personal sales expectations with your immediate supervisor to meet defined territory goals. This role requires a valid driver's license, ISA Arborist Certification or ability to obtain it, and 1-3 years of experience in the tree care industry. Based in Palo Alto, CA, the position offers a salary of $70,000-$125,000 plus commission, along with benefits including company-paid uniforms, car, and cell phone.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of related experience in the tree care industry or prior sales experience
- ISA Arborist Certification or ability to obtain
- Ability to learn to identify trees and shrubs common to the region, diagnose pests and diseases, and recommend corrective action or proactive management plans
- Valid driver's license
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
