Job Summary
Conduct daily sales and client visits within a defined territory to evaluate tree and shrub care needs, establish long-term relationships, and prepare proposals using sales process tools. Supervise work performance to ensure contracts are completed to client satisfaction while implementing safety, transportation, and pesticide compliance programs. Meet existing and potential residential and commercial clients to assess requirements and set personal sales expectations with your supervisor. This role combines arboriculture expertise with sales responsibilities, offering a competitive draw plus commission, and includes advancement opportunities within the Bartlett Tree Experts organization.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of related experience in the tree care industry or prior sales experience
- ISA Arborist Certification or ability to obtain
- Ability to learn to identify trees and shrubs common to the region, diagnose pests and diseases, and recommend corrective action or proactive management plans
- Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Turfgrass, Environmental Science, Plant Science, Outdoor Recreation, Agriculture or a related field
