Job Summary
Conduct daily sales and client visits within a defined territory to evaluate tree and shrub care needs, establish long-term relationships, and prepare proposals using sales process tools. Supervise work to ensure completed jobs meet signed contracts and client satisfaction standards while implementing safety, transportation, and pesticide compliance programs. Set personal sales expectations with immediate supervisor to meet goals. This full-time role in Durham, NC, offers a base salary plus commission, comprehensive benefits, and equipment including a vehicle and laptop.
Required Qualifications
- 1-3 years of related experience in the tree care industry or prior sales experience
- ISA Arborist Certification or ability to obtain
- Ability to learn to identify trees and shrubs common to the region, diagnose pests and diseases, and recommend corrective action or proactive management plans
- Valid driver's license
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills

- Degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Turfgrass, Environmental Science, Plant Science, Outdoor Recreation, Agriculture or a related field
