Job Summary
Perform tree and shrub care treatments using spray, injection, and soil injection tools as prescribed by the Arborist Representative. Mix and apply pesticides and fertilizers according to diagnosis, safety procedures, label instructions, and state laws while maintaining and operating all required equipment and vehicles. Communicate with clients regarding work performed during site visits and complete accurate daily record-keeping and reporting. Safely drive a company vehicle to multiple properties throughout the day and work as a crew member under supervision during the off-season. Required Qualifications
- A passion for nature, the environment, and the outdoors
- Interest in working outdoors year-round in all weather conditions
- Ability to obtain a Commercial Pesticide Applicator License
- Valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Prior tree care, landscaping, forestry, turf care, or horticulture experience
- Degree in Arboriculture, Forestry, Horticulture, Turfgrass, Environmental Science, Plant Science, Outdoor Recreation, Agriculture or a related field
- Learn to identify trees and shrubs common to the region
