Job Summary
Join our team as an Arborist involved in vegetation management projects, focusing on tree climbing, aerial cutting, rigging, and tree dismantling in a rail environment. Essential qualifications include NPTC/LANTRA certifications for chainsaw and aerial tree rescue operations, as well as a Sentinel card. The role emphasizes strict adherence to health and safety standards, requiring proven tree climbing experience, with the provision of additional training for desirable qualifications.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Tree Climber/Arborist, ideally within the rail industry
- NPTC/LANTRA qualifications (CS30/201, CS31/202, CS38/206 & 306, CS39/308)
- PTS (Personal Track Safety) / Sentinel card – essential
- Full UK Driving Licence (no more than 6 penalty points)
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety and environmental legislation
Desired Qualifications
- MEWP (IPAF)
- Woodchipper
- Brush cutter/strimmer
- First Aid +F (Forestry)
