Job Summary
Conduct on-the-job training to safely perform arboriculture tasks including pruning, rigging, cabling, bracing, and removals. Maintain and operate equipment such as chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts while implementing work zone safety procedures. Assist Arborist Climbers and Crew Leaders with ground and aloft duties, and handle driving, backing, dumping, and parking responsibilities. Adhere strictly to all safety rules and company policies. This entry-level role offers hands-on field experience in scientific tree care on commercial and residential properties, with advancement opportunities and industry credential license pay increases.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
- Interest in working outdoors year-round performing manual labor in all weather conditions
- A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to participate within a multi-disciplinary team
- Valid driver's license and clean motor vehicle record

- Prior tree care, landscaping, forestry, or horticulture experience
