Job Summary
Directs crew members and equipment while planning and executing arboricultural tasks including pruning, thinning, removing deadwood, and installing cables or lightning protection systems. Leads teams through the H.O.P.E. process for hazards and obstacles, operates chainsaws and aerial lifts, and mentors staff via the Davey Career Development Program. Requires completion of the Tree Trimmer Orientation, First Aid/CPR, and defensive driving courses. Offers competitive hourly wages of $24-$40, paid time off, 401(k) match, and equipment provided.
Required Qualifications
- Love of the outdoors
- Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire
- Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR and defensive driving course upon hire
- Up to 25% travel
